We had a great few days---shopping, movies, a family picture, but mostly just playing with Jake! It was nice for me to have a few extra hands around the house too! Moms are the best.

My mom came out for a quick trip this past week and we had so much fun! It was so great watching her with Jake---the only grandchild she has to spoil right now! Jake loved her and we all had such a good time! I'm so grateful for the example my mom is of being a mom. I wish they lived a just few minutes away, but visits every so often will have to do!

{because of Him}
Because of Jesus Christ, this life has purpose and meaning. Because of Him, we can become better people and improve every day. Because of Him, we can have hope and joy. Because of Him our hard things can be a little easier, and our weaknesses can become strengths. And because of Him, we'll get to all be an eternal family and see our daughter again. It's all because of Him! Happy Easter!

{4 months}
Jake just turned four months old! He's been growing up so much and it's all going so fast. This past month was a bit crazy with Jake getting Broncholitis, but the doctor thinks it turned to RSV. Between breathing treatments, a steroid shot, and an antibiotic for an ear infection, he's a lot better now. It was quite the ordeal but we all survived! It was so, so sad to see him so sick. We had a fun month seeing some cousins, my aunt and uncle, watching general conference and hanging out with friends.
Travis has been so busy as usual and pulling long days and long nights doing homework. My mom is actually flying in tonight to hang out with me and Jake a bit while Travis has a few more of these crazy days while school is going on!
We are thankful for this Easter week and to know that because of Jesus Christ, life is so good and much easier because of the atonement. He can help us with every little thing we do every day! And because of Jesus Christ, we can all be together as a little family even beyond death. There is no better knowledge! http://easter.mormon.org/
