{fun with friends}

We go to McDonalds for ice cream and fries for girl's night pretty frequently. Keeping it classy! 2 of these mamas were just a couple weeks postpartum {or less!}. These McDonalds nights are serious business.

These two are two peas in a pod. We are so sad they are moving next week! Jake and Nora will just be pen pals and then get married someday. 

Jake's really into trucks lately. As in, he wants to chase them down and not leave. He thinks they are the coolest thing ever. 

He's learned to fold his arms for prayer time. It's pretty much the cutest thing ever. What's even cuter is that if I'm in the kitchen and he wants food, he comes in with his arms folded. He thinks whenever he folds his arms it's time to pray and he'll get food!

These girls. We are the very best of friends! We are all neighbors in the same ward and have kids all the same ages. I'm so thankful to have them a part of my daily life and it will be sad for each of us to move away from each other over the years. Good thing we have future trips already in the plans!

We spend a lot of our days outside! Just the way we like it.

We had a fun play date with Everlie! Swings at the park and then donuts from Rise.

I found him sans-shirt the other morning. This was his first time figuring out how to take off clothes and probably not the last!

We went strawberry picking at Waller Farm! They have soo many yummy strawberries!

I had this sudden urge to make strawberry freezer jam and homemade bread for the first time! It all turned out pretty yummy and was much easier and quicker than I had thought it would be.

Travis made me breakfast for mother's day! 

Jake sat in this chair for a good portion of the 2nd hour of church, during our "kid's sunday school class." He felt like such a big boy in his own chair!

I'm so happy being a mom! Jake with his veggie straws and 24 week baby bump.

Jake got a waterbottle that he thinks is pretty cool.

Travis wears a beenie every morning after showering for a few minutes to tame his crazy bed head. Jake thinks it's fun to wear it around now.

Daddy got to come to tumbling class last week! Jumping on the tramp is one of Jake's favorite parts.

Jake totally in mis-matched clothes eating a Krispy Kreme. I may or may not have eaten five donutes that night.

We love spending our afternoons outside with friends! The other day we all made kool-aid slushies and took them out in the shade. 

We had a fun night with the Henriods eating at Al's, walking down Franklin, and ending the night with some frozen yogurt.

{end of april fun}

Jake's been on a wait list for a tumble gym class I'd heard about through friends, and he started this month! It's a really cute class and the parents are right along side the kids the whole time. He loves it!

The sunshine is out in full force now! Getting ready for a hot summer.

Our cousins are moving to Orlando this week, where Andrew has taken a job with Disney. We are so sad to see them leave but so excited for this new adventure they'll have! It's been so fun having them so close this past year. We've loved having Sunday dinners together at least once month and spending time together. We can't wait to visit them in Disney World at the beginning of next year!

Jake is always so concerned about Ellie and just likes to watch her and make sure she's okay!

Grandma Dyer came to town for a visit! We did lots of fun exploring at the Life & Science Museum, Kidzu children's museum, Pullen Park, the mall, and the park! The Cheesecake Factory was definitely a highlight. Jake had a couple molars come in this same week so he was super on edge and off and on with a fever and not feeling well. But we still got to have some fun adventures we normally don't pack in all in one week!

He's been into carrying pots and pans around lately.

He decided to rearrange all the shoes.

We bought a pass to Kidzu which we will be spending lots of time at!

We went with a group of friends to Pullen Park but Karlee and I had been obsessing over trying Duck Donuts. Definitely worth the little detour. 

Ginnie couldn't make it to Pullen Park because she had her cute baby girl! We all stormed into that hospital to see the new little miracle.
