{watermelon carving}

This weekend we decided to try and carve a watermelon. Thanks to a great chinese youtube tutorial, we started carving away. Trav kept on accidentally calling the watermelon a pumpkin which was hilarious. It took a couple hours but we had a fun date learning something new! Our masterpiece didn't turn out half bad! We had to go give it to some friends afterwards---we just couldn't cut into it or throw it away.
