{busy times]

It's been a busy couple of weeks and it's only going to keep getting more busy! But that's life for ya and we've made time for fun in the process. Travis' accounting class he is teaching at the BYU-SLC center is going extremely well; he loves it which makes me so happy! Thank goodness for the Front Runner here in Provo, the new train that goes directly to SLC. It's about a 1 minute drive from where I work, so Travis and I have been able to switch cars in the afternoon and I drop him off at the station to take it up to SLC. Such a tender mercy! Without it, he wouldn't be able to get up to SLC with us having just one car and me needing to get to and from work. It all turned out perfectly.

We've also been finalizing plans to get our baby insured on Medicaid which created a lot of other changes; i'm quitting my job 2 weeks from today on January 31st! We had to get our income within the requirements to be eligible. Also, the last thing I wanted to do was to begin the application process right before the baby is born, so this way we can get a head start. And my parents have excellent insurance, so it will be best to be on theirs when the baby comes. Medicaid has been the major stress of the past few months and I will be so glad to have the process finalized soon.

My replacement for my job started yesterday and she'll be training with me/shadowing me until I leave. I'm kind of bummed I can't work straight up until my due-date like originally planned since I feel great, but it will be nice to have a forced 5 week break of low-stress and to get as much sleep as possible!

Travis has another fly-out to another Ph.D. program at the start of next month, and he has phone interview tomorrow with another Ph.D. program! He will be gone for a couple weekends and I'm glad my sister Alison will be staying with me since the baby will here soon. Trying not to think about the fact that she could come whenever she wants during a potential fly-out! We are so grateful for all of these opportunities and can't wait to see where we end up for the next 5 years!

My due-date is 2 months away as of yesterday; 8 weeks left to go. She sure is kicking up a storm in there. The carseat is installed and we are finalizing our name options. It's getting so real!
