We have had a great 7.5 weeks with our little girl! She is a really, really calm easy baby and she is already a really great sleeper at night. Jake loves her so, so much and wants to be near her always. This is a huge photo dump! But we are loving life and our little family.
We got fishing licenses! Trav wanted one so he got me one too.
Jake loves shaving every time Travis does.
After Travis turns off the shower Jake runs in to hand him all his things to get ready. Cutest thing ever.
Wearing dad's beenie he wears to flatten his hair. Jake always wants to be just like dad!
Grandma G. came to play with us!
She brought the kids some really cute hooded bath towels she made!
Red Robbin for mom's birthday dinner!
Trav has planned 25 date nights for 25 weeks and one night we did ice sculpting!
Jake found a few trucks for Grandma to buy him....we only let him get a couple boxes!
Travis is a master playdoh sculptor. All Jake wants are trucks, trucks, and more trucks!
Another date night...hand molds! It was actually pretty hard to do.
Here we are fishing on a Friday night!! It was my first time!
The Ergo saves my life on a daily basis.
Travis has gotten into a really great workout routine and Jake loves to try out his exercises. He even wants protein shakes just like daddy.
Jake has a crush on princesses, especially Sofia from the Disney Channel.
Grandma and Grandpa Dyer came to visit! We had fun going on walks, playing at the park, dressing up as pirates for pirate day at Krispy Kreme, going to an apple orchard and eating yummy food. A few fish were even caught!!
Off to Kid Party---our Friday night date saver.
This was Jake's face after eating donuts at Krispy Kreme (we got 5 dozen for free). Krispy Kreme coma!
Trav blessed Ev on September 20, 2015. It was such a beautiful blessing! At the start when all the many men stood up to participate in the circle, I felt such an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for the friends we have here. They're more like siblings to us---friends we've met who've all become family. Our kids adore each other and we've all been there for the ups and downs of life these past years. I will always be so grateful for our friends here!
Evie wore the dress I was blessed in. It fit her perfectly!
He thought her baby acne were owies and thought she needed bandaids. He was so concerned.
Every time someone got tackled in a football game, Jake said "uh, oh."
Jake's first time discovering rain!
That time when all the kids ran down a hill and Jake came back covered in mud. Ginnie and Karlee to the rescue!
I left the room for a couple minutes and came back to this.
I love that he sticks his tongue out when concentrating like I did when I was young.
Foam rollin with daddy.
Tantrums definitely occur here.
Found him like this once. Blinds are now all the way up when he's around or it's a timeout! Had to get a picture of course.
UNC vs. Duke Volleyball game! Ev even got on the jumbotron for a minute.
Testing out our new double stroller...the double BOB! We absolutely love it and are so, so happy with it.
