The last couple days of January and first week of February are days we will never forget; Travis and I were SO sick. It was just miserable! When two tiny humans depend on you for everything it's kind of tricky to handle it all when you can barley get off the couch! Thanks to the TV we managed! Travis and I threw up the same day then the stomach issues continued through the week. Evelyn threw up a couple times and thankfully Jake dodged the stomach problems and got away with just pink eye. Of course at the tail end of this when everything was coming out the other end, the water in Chapel Hill had a shortage and we couldn't use it for a couple of days. They set up porta potties in front of our complex. But on a brighter note, that week we found out a Jamba Juice has FINALLY made its way to us!
4 years! I can't believe Elaine would be 4 this month. The day landed on the weekend without water and I still felt sick, so the day wasn't as fun as usual, but Travis managed to pick up a little cheescake from the store! He also accidentally bought those magic candles that don't blow out when you blow them. So funny to watch Jake (and us) realize they wouldn't go out!
