{the next 6 months}

We have a busy, exciting, and somewhat unexpected 6 months ahead of us! So many things to do, but so fun at the same time! We just decided exactly which stroller, car seat and bassinet/playpen we are going to buy! At least we can cross a couple things off of our list. Baby insurance is the next beast to tackle.

November: Travis will be finished with his Ph.D. applications! That will be so nice to have that behind us. He has worked so hard and has a lot of great options and connections. It’s all up to the Lord from here on out! Also, this week we get to fly to Texas for Thanksgiving! We’ll finally get to participate in our annual family boys vs. girls Thanksgiving Day flag football game! My mom and sister have also been planning a baby shower for this Saturday night and I can’t wait!

December: Travis will finish his last fall semester at BYU! Just one more-full semester to go after this! We will also be flying to Washington at the end of December to be with the Dyers for Christmas! It will be nice to have another break and who doesn’t love Christmas??!

January: Nate comes home from his mission on January 4th!! What a great two years it has been. His weekly letters have always been uplifting and I know our family has been blessed from him serving diligently in Germany. I can’t wait for him to meet Travis in person!

February: Travis will start to hear from schools about receiving a fly out or not, and this month I will also hit the full-term mark of this pregnancy! My mom had me 11 days early, so you never know.

March: Our baby is due!! My mom is flying out to stay with us for 2 weeks after the baby is born{and my sister MaKell is coming for a bit too}, and they will leave to come when the baby is coming {thank you Southwest for flight change options}. I will be so grateful to have her around! Travis will also be flying out to Ph.D. programs this month and those dates, along with the date that the baby decides to make her appearance are completely unknown right now! My sister Alison will be staying at our house with me each day and night that Travis is gone, though, which will be a huge blessing!

April: We will find out (and decide) where in the country we will be living for the next 5 years! It will be such a fun adventure after living in Provo for the past 5 years. We are excited!
