{winter wonderland}

It snowed more here this weekend than I remember it snowing last winter combined! We woke up Saturday morning to who knows how many inches of snow and trees on the ground everywhere. Including on our roof! On Friday night, a huge tree fell and snapped right over the driveway where we park our car. We came back from dinner and doing some shopping to find it right there. What a blessing we were gone and our car wasn't parked there!

While driving yesterday it looked like a tornado had come through Provo---trees on the ground everywhere, and there were some huge ones too! One big tree snapped and fell onto someone's porch and completely ruined the railing. Crazy! Somehow all the snow put us in the Christmas mood, so thanks to Travis' pleading, we put up our Christmas decorations. And yes, Thanksgiving hasn't even happened yet. I guess since we'll be out-of-town for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, we'll let it slide this year!

We had a relaxing weekend buying a Christmas tree, buying Christmas presents, watching Texas A&M play one of the best college football games I've ever seen and beat #1 {not anymore} ranked Alabama, drink hot chocolate, and play in the snow. The snow was fun for about a day and now it is just bitter cold! We will be in Texas next weekend and I can't wait to feel some sunshine again {and some perfect fall weather}!
