{a scripture a day}

We are in the double digits now---just 99 to go until our baby boy's due date! Yesterday I decided I wanted to make a countdown, either a paper chain or to fill a jar with 99 jelly beans and eat one a day. But then I had a new idea: so today I printed off 99 scriptures about faith from the Book of Mormon and we will take one out every day to read until the jar is empty, or until he gets here; whichever one comes first! On one hand, I want to just wake up and have it be December and have him here. But, that would be the easy way, without growth, and defeats the point of us living here on this earth. So, when I think about it a little harder, I need these 99 remaining days to learn to have even just a little more faith in all I do every day and to become a better person because of it; and, in return, to be a better mom than I could have been without having to have exercised a bit of faith to get our little guy here to raise. Faith precedes the miracle!
