{utah: nate & hayley's wedding}

We had such a great time in Utah for my brother's wedding! Nate & Hayley are such a great couple and it was so fun being there with the whole family. On our {miserable} flight out there, we had a layover in Baltimore. So naturally we had to track down one of our favorite sandwich shops.

Watching the planes go by.

His first Happy Meal! It stuck to its name. Boy was he happy.

Our last flight was 5 straight hours and Jake had refused to nap ALL day. So an overtired + overstimulated one year old on a plane for 5 hours = extreme exhaustion. Somehow we all survived and literally right as the plane touched ground he fell asleep on me. Timing I tell ya.

 This is MY youngest cousin on my mom's side! He and Jake had lots of fun together.

My mom & my grandma Blake with me and Jake: 4 generations!

Jake's great grandpa Blake

Playing with my mom---Jake loves his grandparents!

Feeding grandpa crackers.

Okay but this face.

We ate lunch one day at Brick Oven! Jake loved the rootbeer, as he should.

We also made a stop to Cafe Rio. Amen.

The house of the basement we spent almost 2 years together of our married life. So much happened in that little place.

Jake loves his uncles!

First time bowling...

Feeding horses!

The happy couple!

Uncle Jared & Uncle Dallin watching Jake while we were in the sealing.

In front of the temple we were married in 3.5 years ago! Jake wasn't feeling this pic.

Jake playing with the cash register I grew up playing with {Santa brought it to me one year!}

One of our favorite spots was to our little girl's gravesite. Jake doesn't get it quite yet but it was a good start.

How he felt about it all.

Our flight back went soooo much better. Jake had napped, the flights were shorter, and overall opposite of our flight out there. Except while at the SLC airport it was discovered I had "explosive chemicals" on my skin. That led to questioning, pat downs, and a complete search of my belongings. Thankfully I was cleared just in time to sprint for final boarding for my flight to see Travis and Jake waiting at the gate. I had Jake's boarding pass so they had to wait for me. We thankfully got the last two seats together on the plane, very last row and all.

We also took family pictures in Utah! I just love my family so much! I'm so grateful for how close we are {every day still} even though we are all spread out. And it's so fun adding 2 new in-laws this year! We are excited to head back to Utah in June for the next wedding of 2015.
