{Ali's Wedding}

My sister Alison was married to Jacob in June in Salt Lake City! They met while in high school in Texas. Ali wore my mom's wedding dress and it fit her perfectly! My mom just altered the sleeves to make them capped sleeves instead of long sleeves.

Travis and I were married almost 4 years ago now, and all of my siblings were still single up until this year. Now within 3 months, I've had 2 siblings get married! My other sister has an awesome boyfriend, and suddenly it feels like 4 of the 6 of us siblings are all in the exact same phase of life, which is so, so fun!

We knew a day of flying with Jake would be on the stressful side---he doesn't like to sit still! It's a long ways to Utah, so we came prepared for anything. Here are just some of the snacks we traveled with! Yes we had no shame giving him a sugar high if need be. Avoiding tantrums at all costs was our number one goal. I also bought some toys from the dollar store and wrapped them up to give him along the way. Surprisingly enough, we hardly touched our snacks and toys. He did such an amazing job traveling this time!

He would only keep the headphones on him for a little bit at a time, but we took what we could get. We had the aisle and middle seat each flight. It would have been a lot easier if the plane hadn't been so full and we could have had a whole row!

Our first day there we headed to a Garlick Sunday dinner. Jake and Grandpa had fun playing in a tunnel at my aunt's house.

We were able to meet my grandpa's fiance {and now wife! They got marred this past week}

Jake had a fun time exploring the new house we were staying in.

On Travis' birthday we headed to a really fun splash pad and went to Brick Oven! Jake's uncles, Jared and dallin, were loving the splash pad with Jake.

Classic 16 year old Jared. He cracks us up constantly! Of course he kept his record with throwing up this night, a couple days before Ali's wedding. So far he has thrown up at now mine and my other two married sibling's weddings. When Makell's turn comes around we will have to see if he can keep up his streak. He tends to over eat a tad sometimes!

Jake eating daddy's birthday dessert.

Happy 27th to Trav!

Snuggles with grandma.

Their wedding dinner was up past Heber for the immediate families and it was beautiful! Jacob's family ordered Carrabba's and it was such a great night! The sibling gift exchange is always my favorite part.

We made a few sno cone rounds while in Utah. Utah knows how to do a lot of things really well, one of them being sno cone shacks on pretty much every corner. This is Jake's first time eating Tiger's Blood flavor!

This kid is obsessed with animals. As in no fear whatsoever.

Playing the piano with Uncle Jared.

Getting pushed around in the Tonka truck by grandma.

Eating Jared's breakfast.

Ali had all the sisters paint their nails in mint green for the wedding and hers were light pink!

Makell, Jared, and Dallin were so great to watch Jake during the sealing!

As soon as everyone yelled smiled, Jake lost it.

Love these sisters of mine! We are glad Hayley joined our crew too in March.

Grandpa giving Jake some rootbeer slush. Jake sure is loving all the attention being the only grandchild to spoil...now with all these weddings I think that will change in the near future! And he'll have to share the spotlight with his baby sister.

Jared and Travis dancing the night away. Trav's boutineer was about to poke someone, or himself, so that came right off. The reception was at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building and it was a really fun night!

Jake crashed right when the dancing started. He did so great the whole day!

Thank goodness for a cheap umbrella stroller to get us through the trip!

The next morning was my cousin Eliza's wedding up in Salt Lake City! Jake had fun playing with aunt Kell again while we were in the sealing. I had another cousin get married the week before we got into town in Payson, Utah. Three Garlick cousins in a week were married!

Trying on grandma's reading glasses.

I love when he covers his mouth in excitement or concern.

He really liked the Blue Lemon dessert we got at City Creek Mall.

Jake's first trip to Panda Express.

Our first time back on BYU campus! Oh the memories.

Family kick-ball game!

Jake was loving this water bottle that was a mister. He was spraying everyone and ended up drenching himself with it.

We all headed to In-N-Out after.

'

Jake felt pretty cool with his own hamburger.

We of course made it over to see Elaine Raquel's grave.

My dad and brothers left to Colorado at the end of the week to go to a High Adventure, and my mom stayed a couple days longer with us. We took her with us to see Cinderella while Jake napped!

We were on grandma's same flight to Arizona to then connect to North Carolina!

It was such a great trip despite being pretty pregnant! We packed in all sorts of family and friend visits and activities and it was a blast.
