September started out hot and on the beach and ended with the feeling of fall in the air! We met the Evans at Topsail who drove over from Greenville and enjoyed the beach with a few other friends as well! The kids loved it; Jake had zero fear running right into the waves!
All the dads with the older kids
One day my neighbor Jessica Snyder and I ran into each other in the hall and started talking; 20 seconds later the kids had run away... they got on the elevator and off of it down in the mail room. We were laughing so hard. Jake and Brody thought it was hilarious, but poor Brinley was so scared!
The frozen strawberry lemonade from McDonalds rocked my world for a couple weeks while it was out.
Another night fire alarm here at the apartment complex.
Christmas is already at Costco!
A rare moment when the kids are playing quietly together...
Painted Ev's toes for the first time! Was killing me with cuteness.
We took a nature walk with friends down to Merrit's Pasture and collected leaves!
Watchin airplanes.
Went for a little walk around the Raleigh temple. Jake kept looking at the "guy" up there on the top (angel moroni)
Petco turned into a little petting zoo for the kids.
Walked in like pirates, walked out with 4 dozen doughnuts
Cutest lil biker gang.
Ward Campout! Jake and Trav spent the night and Ev and I went home to sleep. Jake did so well and loved it!
Yogurt...
Evelyn had a simple surgery this month to get ear tubes! Life changer. She has been sleeping so much better and I don't think it's a coincednece. She has had 6 ear infections since January, so we decided to get the tubes; especially because winter is around the corner! She did amazing. We arrived at the hospital at 6:30am, surgery was at 7:30am, and we were back in the parking lot leaving at 8:15am! She came out of the anesthesia like it was just a great nap. How cute is that hospital gown!!

The evening of Ev's surgery we went to Travis' opening PhD social. Ev was back to herself and the kids had a blast. Jake could have lived in that bounce house, and Ev kept following Rameses around!
pumpkin cookies = fall
Jake loooves unloading the dishwasher and loading it again with the dirty dishes. I love it too! It's also so cute to see the stacks he makes of mismatched dishes.
Richelle and I drove down to Greenville one day together with the kids to go see Karlee & her new house! The kids had a blast too!
