{april 2017}

April started off great with General Conference! Jake liked playing conference bingo for part of it.

Cinnamon rolls are always a must on Conference Sunday for us!

Making more bows, this time for a hospital in Raleigh.

She wears these sunglasses alll the time.

Family run fun.

Walking to the basketball museum the day of the NCAA championship game.

Played at the park during a rainstorm later in the day!

Watching the game and soooo nervous. Pacing and all

But we WON!! It was so fun. The fire alarm even celebrated by going off in our building at 5:45am that next morning.

The day after UNC won, I took the kids to Franklin Street with some friends. The atmosphere was amazing! We got free Insomnia Cookies to celebrate the win and free Ben & Jerry's ice cream.

That night we welcomed home the team at the basketball stadium!

No garage so this is our life...

She loves coloring!

My sister designed this awesome card to go with the bows! Check her out here: makelltagg.com

We went to FanFest to kick for the spring football scrimmage game!

Evening soccer match.

Jake was sooo excited to get on the plane to Texas! We had so much fun in Texas seeing Jared one last time before he heads to Norway on his mission! It was also Easter weekend so it was packed with fun! It had been 2.5 years since I'd been back in College Station; we had such a great time!

The Garlick House!

The pretty subdivision

Me and mom!

Papa's garden and yummy ebelskivers!

Jake's a fan.

Easter egg hunts (one of many haha)! Jake wanted to do it again another day so we reused the candy!

making pizzas

Helping Nana make rolls on Sunday morning!

Free day at the Waco Zoo if you dress up like Batman! So of course, my mom whips these costumes out for everyone.

It was an AWESOME zoo. Afterwards we headed down the street a couple miles and went to Chip & Jo Jo's Magnolia Farms (show Fixer Upper). It was the best. The cupcakes were amazing too!

Having family night! They loved Papa's lesson.

Lot's of Jared selfies found on my camera roll. He's going to be such an amazing missionary!

The flight isn't too long to Texas thankfully!! Ev wanted out of the stroller though at RDU so she started walking around still buckled in!

She's been doing a yoga pose these days...

When the chairs are being used for your fort, you eat dinner on the fort!

Free box from Influenster!! So fun!

They love it when I put them in bed together before taking Ev to go to her bed. They told the cutest stories this night and then Jake told us to sit up and asked me to take their picture.

Jake rocked it at the denist this time! Last time he only let them count his teeth; this time he had a full cleaning done without a complaint!

She loves cash registers and cutting food

Watering the flowers.

Year FOUR of the PhD is DONE!!! Travis got an awesome award and some $$ at the PhD banquet. One of the student reviews they read out loud at the banquet about Travis was: he was the best professor I've had at UNC. So proud of him!

Seth and Hollie flew in from Brazil and flew into RDU so we got to see them! It was so fun meeting their little baby Grace. I'm glad I thought as they were headed out the door to quickly make a bow for her- we just love their little family!

Jake always sets up his favorite toys from that day in his room at night.

Here is a side by side of Travis and Jake. So crazy! Even their hair is the same haha!
