May was a fun month! A lot of nice weather, a little sickness, camping, a business trip to Wharton for Travis, and a trip to the Outerbanks with Grandma and Grandpa Dyer!
This little lion is her favorite thing. She takes it lots of places and sleeps with it. Too cute!
We went to Danville to visit my aunt and uncle and went to a cool army museum!

Jake was sick throwing up for 24 hours then was pretty miserable the first two days Tavis' parents were here. A priesthood blessing and good night of sleep later and we hit the road Saturday morning for a fun weekend at the Outerbanks!

We had lots of fun playing at the beach, eating yummy food, seeing lighthouses, going to a pier and so much more! I didn't realize how much history is on the island as well with the first colonists!
Evelyn was not sure of the water at first but finally warmed up to it and laughed when it would touch her toes!
We went to an old slave plantation in Durham and happened to walk by a patch of dirt where a turtle was laying eggs! It was incredible to watch.
And we ended the trip with Chick-fil-A. Doesn't get better than that!
