November started with Rebecca (Trav's sister) coming to visit! We had a blast walking around campus, seeing the UNC basketball museum, Duke Chapel, and eating at Dames Chicken and Waffles!
Finally updated Jake's hat!! He wore a UNC hat pretty much every day of his life from age 6 months old to 2.5 years old and then it got too small for him.
Jake had his last soccer game of the season! His favorite was playing goalie. He got a medal at the end which he was excited about. After the game we went to Rise to get the kids' favorite, sprinkle donuts.
Love these two buddies!
My Solly wrap came with a snag so they sent me another one and let me keep the other one! Ev and I get to be twins and it was so cute seeing her carry her lion around.
Skittle art with leftover Halloween candy!
Watching these two share a a jar of salsa and chips was one of the best moments.
Ev LOVES squirrels and was obsessed with this squirrel hat she got from story time at the Library. She even napped in it.
Jake loves his preschool and his friends there!
Due in April with a baby GIRL!! Halfway there!
Evie has a thing about rolling her pants up when she walks around.
Love all of Jake's preschool creations.
Travis cut me this Joy door hanger! I painted it gray and I love it! He's so talented.
We drove up to DC for Thanksgiving to my sister MaKell's and bro-in-law Bret's house! We had dinner with Bret's family and then spent the rest of the time at MaKell's house. We had a blast! We took the metro in one day which the kids loved. We went to the American History museum and the kids loved the kids area. Jake was obsessed with these chicken eggs and Evie played in the kitchen the whole time. We also ate lunch at my favorite, Pot Belly's. Then we went to the Air and Space Museum which was so fun, especially for Jake! He flapped his arms around the whole time like a plane. The next day we went to the zoo! The weather turned out great and we saw so many animals. Our favorites were hearing the lion roar and seeing a fish suck on a binky that had fallen into the water.
I love setting up Christmas decorations! The kids had a blast.
I was looking at Melissa & Doug stickers at the store and look over and Ev put alllll the huge toys in the cart. At least it kept her occupied! I had to be a super sleuth to get those back on the shelves without her freaking out. I handed the cashier a couple to put away too.
One of my favorite things is to make a bunch of ham and cheese sandwiches and freeze them! They thaw perfectly for lunches, don't even need an ice pack!
A lady sent me this cute floral crown. So so sweet!
The kids love to make hard boiled eggs in the Instant Pot! They're sooo easy to peel!!
