UNC basketball museum!

I spend my whole day trying not to literally gobble her up!

Trav watched the first half of the championship basketball game at the stadium next door on the big screen with all the students! Packed stadium!

A little petting zoo...

Marcus Paige sighting at Chipotle.

We went to a science fair on campus. It was sooo windy, but fun! Lots of animals and little experiments for kids.

Can't believe Ev is 8 months old!!

#momlife

Grandma Dyer came for a visit! We had fun eating chicken and waffles at Dames, playing with trains and trucks, going to the park, NC State Farm Days, botanical gardens, Chick-fil-A, our friend's first communion and lunch, and going on walks.

Such an amazing pedicure!!

She learned how to pick food up on her own which makes mealtime a lot easier for me!

Stephanie's first communion.

Matching shirts at church!

They hadn't seen each other for about a month, so hugs were in order!

The day grandma left, I got really sick. I haven't felt that sick in a long time! The next day Jake woke up with a fever and he tested positive for the flu at the doctor's office. He was miserable! It was a rough week.

Right before Jake got sick we got a fish! The first two batches may or may not have died so we replaced them both times at night after Jake went to bed. We ended up with a thriving Beta fish and named him Fin. Jake loves to watch him "fly" around the tank.

Where he put a pocket knife....(a hard one to open that Trav let him hold)

Little did I know that the week after Jake and I had the flu would be even harder. Poor Evelyn was SO sick! It started with 6 teeth literally cutting through the gums all at the same time. Jake only ever got his teeth one or two at a time, so this was nuts! She had a pretty runny nose and came down with a fever and miserable. I took her in and found out she had a double ear infection. 4 more days of really high fevers, hardly any sleep, low appetite, etc and she broke out in a rash all over her body once her fever finally left. I took her back to the doctor (one of many times that week) because during the week we switched antibiotics after 48 hours since it wasn't helping the right ear, so I wanted to make sure she wasn't reacting to the antibiotics. Come to find out she had Roseola! Still can't get over the fact she had that virus along with the ear infections and teething! I was convinced she had the flu even though her tests came back negative, but the rash at the end sealed the deal.

Strawberry freezer jam!

Her poor rash.

48 hours after the rash broke out, she looked soo much better!

We went to Maverick's first birthday party bbq and the kids eventually helped him eat his cake!

Love these two little friends!

So happy to have my happy, healthy girl back.
