We see sooo many fire trucks here at Baity Hill. Jake loves it. And the other day he started standing with his hands on his hips, just like his dad. And I LOVE It.
Costco is our fav.
Pulling up to stand now!
Lots of chocolate bagging for the ward on Mother's day.
My latest obsession.
Fire station tour with friends! Jake was in his happy place.
Icing his leg like daddy.
Packing to go camping as a family!!
The boys started loading the car hours before we left; they were too excited.
Not too shabby of a campsite---we love Jordan Lake!
Ev slept pretty good. Jake on the other hand woke up at 1:30am and decided he didn't want to go back to sleep. He was wired! He wanted to leave the tent and go by the campfire and play with friends. I spent the next couple hours trying to get him to lay down and talk quietly to not wake Ev up who was sleeping literally right next to him. It was nuts. Finally around 3:30am Trav took Jake to the car to sleep and I just laid on the ground pretty much awake. Minus the terrible, exhausting night, we made some great memories with our little family and our friends and had fun!
6:15 a.m. looked like this:
Motherhood for me in a nutshell--wouldn't have it any other way!
Taco soup mess.
Girl's night at Top of the Hill for dessert!
Puzzle time!
10 months of this little bug in our lives. We love her!
Made the 30 minute drive out to Sonic once night---I just needed that lemonberry slush.
Jake went to a birthday party for the first time. He was so excited!
Ev inherited her dad's crazy bedhead. Looks like she'll just have crazy hair until it grows longer!
I could just eat up his little face. He says the cutest things all the time and I can't handle it!
Ev somehow got all these stickers on her hand and couldn't figure out why they weren't coming off or how to get them off. So funny!
Jake found a pretty good bargain at Petco:
She loves rocking in the rocking chair!
Blurry pics between daddy's meetings and leaving to church.
McDonald's for life with these girls.
Jake got hit with a stomach bug that went around our complex! It was a nasty one full of throwing up misery.
He finally felt like eating and was demanding ritz crackers with milk. How do they come up with these things? Well I was picking battles wisely that day with this one so ritz and milk it was. He ate one bite and walked away.
Workin on that form.
Making a spider! That lasted all but 2 minutes.
Jake loooves it when I put Ev in his crib with her to play before naps or after naps. He asks for her to come in all the time and she thinks he's hilarious and it's the cutest thing to watch!
We got a free exercise bike which has been amazing to have in the house!!
When Jake hears thunder he thinks it's a garbage truck nearby!
Ice cream with friends at Maple View farm!
These girls have my heart. We've been through a lot these last few years together and it's so sad that 4 of them are finished at UNC now! Good thing we have lots of ways to keep in touch.
