{family home evening}

a great memory i have growing up is having family night, every single monday night; these were always fun and uplifting at the same time! my mom gave me and travis the cutest family night chart so we can rotate assignments; but travis is always the "conductor" and he's a pro at it. we sing a hymn, pray, have a lesson, a game, a talent, and a treat! last night we invited our friends matt & tyanna over for family night! travis gave a great lesson about the ministry of angels {love this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wkjswRFQ-Zk} and we played banana grams and matt shared a talent of being able to do the wave with his tongue! it was one of the coolest things we'd ever seen. we also had brownies and ice cream! i love family home evening and am glad trav and i are getting into the habit of it early on before the kiddos come. plus, we're practicing for when they all leave the house to start their own families, so we can handle having triple the duties all over again!
