we love the weekends! yesterday we went to target and loaded up on groceries, and finally decided we needed more room in our freezer, which means that the tradition to eat the top layer of our wedding cake at the one year anniversary turned into our own "let's eat it at our almost four months anniversary." plus, travis doesn't like cake anyway, so i'll basically eat a bite and then find some friends who want some wedding cake. we were told to eat it within six months because it'll taste fresher, so i'm glad we got it out when we did. travis and i met one year ago this month! it took me a few months to finally see the light and fall for him, but once the semester ended in april we were hanging out non stop {literally}. now we've almost been married for four months! crazy how time flies.
later last night we went with our friends garrett & allison to the temple and then watched IRobot! tonight we're headed to olive garden with beth & taylor and then to our adult stake conference meeting. we are grateful for fun friends!
oh and travis on monday night had to go to campus late to print something {he just couldn't wait until the morning} and came home with a beautiful rose! he just needed an excuse to sneak away to get it for me just because. love him!
I wish we had don that. I also wish mom had taken all the flowers and leaves off the top of our cake before putting it in the freezer! Not kidding! It was pretty gross!
